Golden Rule Spirits Project: Do UNTO Others

In my Account Management class at the University of Colorado Boulder, I collaborated with a team to develop a comprehensive brand strategy for Golden Rule Spirits, a company built around the idea of connection and community. Our goal was to reposition the brand as more than just a beverage company — as a catalyst for bringing people together in an age where loneliness and disconnection have become increasingly common.

Throughout the project, we created a creative brief, budget allocation sheet, strategic presentation, and marketing plan that focused on reestablishing the social ritual of sharing a drink as a way to foster authentic human connection. Our strategy highlighted how Golden Rule Spirits could serve as a bridge between individuals, inspiring moments of togetherness and meaningful conversation.

By blending research, storytelling, and brand positioning, our team crafted a campaign that aligned the brand’s identity with its core purpose — reminding people of the importance of community, empathy, and the simple act of sharing a moment with others.
